GERMANY. Tiengen, Bishops of Konstanz. Otto III von Hachberg-Rötteln, 1411-1434. Bracteate (Silver, 19 mm, 0.24 g). Mitred bust of the bishop facing between T-V. Rev. Incuse of obverse. Blaschegg Group V, Abb. 30.3. Slg. Wüthr. 175. Several small cracks, otherwise, good very fine.

In 1413, the Bishopric of Konstanz received the town and mint of Tiengen from the Lords of Krenkingen. As the mint at Konstanz had been taken over by the town in 1367, Tiengen was the only mint in possession of the bishop.
